Well, another wonderful turkey day it was! I spent 3 out of the 4 nights in Troy out at the bars for the annual Troy High Reunion (not really, just feels like it). In the rest of my spare time I either worked, played Nerf Wars at Gorman's (which was awesome!), played with LEGO's, or played some Super Nintendo. Needless to say, I felt like I was eleven again.
Now it's back to the grind. My damn eye has been twitching for the past three days and everyone tells me it is because of stress. Stress, schmess! I have been under more stress than I am right now and my eye hasn't twitched like this! Bah humbug! This is the last week of classes and then it's finals week. My only real final is the Friday of finals week, which sucks, because personally I'd like to have it out of the way. Oh well. After that it's Christmas break (work time) until January 12th when I enter my last (hopefully) semester here at good ole MSU. Sheesh, I thought I'd never say that! Anyway, time to relax before we begin the week. I am going to try and post some more pictures in the next few days, but no promises! See ya... Tuesday, November 25, 2003
Caroline couldn't find me a reason why tomorrow is the biggest bar night of the year, but she did find an interesting article in which the first bar listed is the one we're planning on going out to. Heh!

So I know that the night before Thanksgiving is the biggest bar night of the year, but why? Why wouldn't it be New Years or St. Patty's day? I need some statistical evidence! Someone please help!

I really don't know how Mayer finds this stuff, but I found it amusing and decided to post it. Thanks Mayer!

Mayer sent me this review of the Wiener Circle (CAUTION: Link contains profanity) a while back. If you've been to Chicago and haven't been to the Weiner Circle, then you haven't been to Chicago. This place is hilarious (and good too)!
In other news, MORE PICTURES!!! This time from a day trip we took to Lake Ogemaw back in early September. Enjoy. Friday, November 14, 2003
I just noticed that lately my posts have been rather short and skimpy, so I wanted to add something with a little more depth to it. Whatever that means. Let's see, how about an update on my life?
Well, I saw the doc yesterday that performed my surgery and he said my belly was doing well. He said it was probably from a cyst I developed as an embryo that just somehow got infected and created the umbilical hernia. Weird! He said it was healing well though despite being severely infected when they operated on it. He also said my wound reacted to the stitches a bit, but it wasn't any big deal. My belly button still looks a but funny, but it should be back to normal in a few months he said as the wound healed on the inside. Good thing this didn't happen during the summer though, otherwise I'd be pissed! Jen is in Kalamazoo tonight so I have some time for myself here to get caught up a bit and well, play video games! I have had a very busy and productive week though. After being thrown off from the surgery, I am finally getting back into the normal groove of things. It was a game of catch-up there for a while. Business has just been explosive lately and that just added to the pile of work and school on my plate. Not complaining though, just stating. :-) Not too much else is new. Jen and I are doing great, the fam is doing good, and Chris hasn't asked me to buy beer for him in a while. Odd. I am working on trying to get caught up on my pictures finally, so expect to see a lot more come online in the next week here. That's all for now. How's that for a little more meat?
I really dislike winter. It's just so cold. And it's really cold. When's summer coming back?

Heather sent this link to me. Pretty funny! Make sure your volume is not on mute and you have some time on your hands...

Who on EARTH could finish this burger?! Ryan Shaltry linked to it on his site and I thought it was so ridiculous that I had to post a link to it myself.

Boy, this is the best one yet. I got some spam today offering a "free listing" at YellovvPages.com. No, not yelloW, yelloVV. Notice the difference? It took me a bit of squinting (and checking the HTML source code of the e-mail), but after about 3 seconds after receiving the e-mail I noticed it was two "V's" and not a "W" in there. Tricky little guys. Take a peek for yourself...
