I've still got 6 GMail invitations left, does anyone want or need one?

Our summer-long season of softball ended tonight with a loss in the play-off's. We still had a great time nonetheless and I am already looking forward to next season when I can hit a few more home runs to add to my present total of zero.

Read about this little eBay auction this morning. I think it would be cool to own a race track, however this is a little bit out of my price range.

Spent another fun-filled weekend at Michigan State. Dief, Gorman and I hung out with my brother Friday night and hopped in the tailgate line at about 2 AM. We rolled into the tennis courts at 7 AM and the festivities began. It was an absolute blast. Afterwards we went over to Katie B's condo for a swim and some nap time. Needless to say I passed out next to the pool and woke up with a little bit of a sun burn. Ouch!

Saturday night we went over to Harper's to watch Greenstreet perform. They sounded great! They played a lot of their own songs and a few covers to boot.

On Sunday I bought Burnout 3. By far one of the sweetest games I have purchased since Burnout 2. That's all for now, time to get back to work.

Well, everything went well with the funeral. A big thank you to everyone who came to pay their respects. My Grandma will surely be missed, but this is just the course of life.

Getting back to normal, I came across a link to Yahoo's new service called FareChase. It seems pretty cool so far, but it's still in the Beta stages. Anyway, Caroline is bugging me to eat with her.

Sadly my Grandmother passed away this morning, ironically on the 5-year Anniversary of my father's death. My Grandmother came home and into hospice care this past Wednesday. She really wanted to be home and I am glad she was where she wanted to be.

Her death was peaceful and her family was all around her to say goodbye. We knew last night when the hospice lady told us it was only a matter of a few hours. She made it to the morning and took her last two beath's when Tricia, my older sister, walked in the door. Trish had told my Grandmother the night before she would be back at 7 AM and Grandma had waited for her.

She wasn't too responsive last night but we knew she could hear us. We saw a few tears in her eyes and she could slightly nod her head. We knew she was comfortable though and happy to be in her home with a family that loved her so much. She will be greatly, greatly missed. I can guarantee there is no other Grandma in the world quite like her. I love you Grandma and will never forget everything you gave me.

There are two sides to every story, but this is pretty convincing. I don't believe it and I don't not believe it, but pretty convincing nonetheless.
