Well, another great, but busy, weekend. I was in Ann Arbor on both Friday and Saturday nights to help film the "Smoker" at UofM. It is a production the Med School puts on there every year. It is really quite a show and amazing to think how these guys have time to put this thing on while they're going through Med School as well!

After the show on Friday night, I sped home back to Royal Oak in time to join everyone at the bar for Phil Shih's birthday bash. I have some pictures that I took on Jen's camera that I will post soon, but out of Phil's pictures, this is by far my favorite from that night.

On Saturday I was in the office for a few hours working and then back to Ann Arbor. Sunday back in the office, dinner with the fam, and then watched the Oscar's the rest of the night. That's all for now. I will clean the pictures off of my SD card and upload them soon.

So we discovered today that core3 is THE source for learning how to setup a POP3 e-mail account in Outlook, just behind Microsoft (according to Google). If you're a nerd like we are, that's pretty funny. Okay, back to work.

So apparently I'm never going to die. Phew! Got that worry off my plate! This is a hilarious article though. While the guy seems like a quack, he has some serious credibility to his name, including being a recipient of the Lemelson-MIT prize. Enjoy...

It looks like Google finally launched a map service called Google Maps. I tried it out yesterday. It's not too bad, but obviously not as good as Mapquest. I love Google and all, but they have a few improvements to make before it can compete.

I also rolled across a cool thing last night that I lost for a while and found again called Konfabulator. It's a neat set of widgets you can download and have sit on your desktop. I like the weather and stock one.

And for my last link of the day I present: The Joy of Tech. I don't know how I didn't find this one before. Hilarious!

I was happy to see that Apple has topped the list of the world's most influential brands followed closely by Google. It's not surprising to see Starbucks and some of the others on there, but Ikea and Aljazeera? I understand they have some influence, but there's something wrong with each of those pictures. Nonetheless, the FBI is probably going to be watching me now that I wrote Aljazeera on my web site. Hi guys!

Well, another Superbowl and another year of me not caring that much about it. I know, I know...it's the world's GREATEST SPORTING EVENT! All I really care about though is the final score. In any event, we hung out at Hatz and Caroline's place where we ate, danced, and watched some good ole American football. Well, we didn't actually dance, but it sounded good.

I came across a hilarious news story this morning I found through the GLITR asking the long-overdue question(s), Why Does Windows Still Suck? / Why do PC users put up with so many viruses and worms? Why isn't everyone own a Mac? Enjoy (I know I did)!
