Well, what a past few days it has been. The Dance Marathon finished with a total of $301,510.62 raised, which is an all-time high and new record! I spent about 36 hours in the Track and Field Building at UofM this past weekend, 35 of those hours were spent on my feet. Needless to say, I am ready for a vacation.

Speaking of which, I am heading out to Vegas...TODAY! I fly out at around 6 PM today and should be there by 10:30 Vegas time. Deyer, Dief, Phil Shih, Mayer, and I are all going. Yes, it is going to be fun.

With that said though, I need to get some shut-eye. I posted a bunch of new pictures; check them out. Plenty of pictures after Vegas I am sure...

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I actually remembered to wear my green this year, too!

Let me just take a minute to remind everyone how much SBC SUCKS! I had a DSL order placed for a customer that they decided they would just cancel and not tell anyone about. It's a long story, but they really need to work on their customer service. Oh yeah, and SBC DSL is apparently different from SBC the phone company. Who knew?!

In any event, the NCAA tourney is starting in about 45 minutes and we're pumped around the core3 HQ. We have about fifteen people in our little office pool. I think I am going to win this year. We'll see...

Another fun weekend and I have lots of pictures I am going to try and upload soon, as soon as Jen gives me my memory card back.

Tonight we went over to Chili's for dinner. There was a rude group of kids next to us (one was over 21 and ordered a few drinks, but I still consider him a kid) who ordered a few drinks and some appetizers. They hit on every waitress and dumped all the salt and pepper from the shakers. Then all of the sudden they all stood up and took off. I witnessed my first ever dine and ditch.

Not much else is new. I am going to Vegas in a week and two days which I am starting to get pretty pumped for. I watched Las Vegas on NBC and Caesars 24/7 on A&E tonight to get me even more pumped. Gotta get the work done first though...

I took Jen out for her birthday last night (her actual birthday is Friday, but we celebrated last night so we could celebrate with friends on Friday). I planned a surprise night for her of dinner and a show. We ate dinner at a place called Boodles which is at the corner of 11 Mile and I-75/Stephenson. It was actually really good and had a great atmosphere.

After that we headed down to the Masonic Temple to see The Phantom of the Opera. I pulled the tickets off of Ticketmaster a few days ago which I thought were third row, front and center. Well, after you take out two rows for the orchestra pit, we ended up being the first row! It was AWESOME! The had aisle seats so we literally were FRONT AND CENTER for the show. I was basically sitting right next to the conductor of the orchestra and could peer over the wall in front of us into the orchestra pit. It was really cool to see the actors so well and be able to make eye contact with them.

That's all for now, gotta get back to work...

Blogger runs so slow sometimes. I also really need to update my site. It still has my Troy address in the contact info. I had a thurp and threw up in my mouth a little bit ago and it was gross. Really gross. And in our final story of the night, I was reading through my blog and realized how much of a nerd I must look like. I am sure this is helping...

Gorman pointed out the Yahoo! Netrospective: 10 years, 100 moments of the Web to me last night. It is very cool so far and I haven't had the chance to read it all yet!

I just saw this on a site and found it amusing:

IRC Users (If you don't know whether you're an IRC user or not, then you're not.)

I know, I'm a nerd.
