I got a forward this morning that was just too funny not to post to my site here. I did some research though and discovered it is not a real Top Ten list.

NOTE: I did not write this and I have nothing against black NASCAR drivers or black people. I do find it really, really funny though. David Letterman's Top 10 Reasons Why There Are No Black NASCAR Drivers: 10) HAVE TO SIT UPRIGHT WHILE DRIVING. 9) PISTOL WON'T STAY UNDER FRONT SEAT. 8) ENGINES DROWN OUT THE RAP MUSIC. 7) PIT CREW CAN'T WORK ON CAR WHILE HOLDING UP PANTS AT THE SAME TIME. 6) THEY KEEP TRYING TO CAR JACK DALE JR. 5) POLICE CARS ON TRACK INTERFERE WITH RACE. 4) NO PASSENGER SEAT FOR THE HO. 3) THERE ARE NO SPONSORS FOR CADILLAC. 2) CAN'T WEAR HELMET SIDEWAYS. AND THE NUMBER 1 REASON WHY BLACKS CAN'T BE IN NASCAR: 1) WHEN THEY CRASH THEIR CAR THEY BAIL OUT AND RUN. Tuesday, May 24, 2005(0) commentsMonday, May 23, 2005
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY HATZ!

I saw a news story on Slashdot today about some Google Maps hacks which was pretty cool. Then I was reading the GLITR and came across a link to the Google Inc. Factory Tour which was even more cool! I really do like my new homepage though that I personalized at Google. It just gets better every day! Speaking of, it was another fun and relaxing weekend in Royal Oak. On Friday night I was on the west side of the state for some business at which time I also got a haircut. I was back in time to meet the guys at Memphis Smoke and enjoy some pretty good music. On Saturday, the girls of 722 N. Alexander threw a party in honor of EHatz. It was a good time, but I was cashed by 1:30 AM. I was thinking today about how in 6th grade, LLiby wrote K.I.T. in my yearbook (back when people used to sign your yearbook). I asked him what it meant cause I didn't know back then and he told me it meant Keep In Touch. Did he honestly think we would not keep in touch?! We lived in the same subdivision! Silly rabbit. Curtis is out of town this week so I have been working double duty on computer repair. It's fun though, so no complaints. Pictures posted when I feel like it... Chicago was great! My mouth and stomach still hurt from laughing so much. I swear I will post some pictures soon.

Here's a funny article about the names of some local companies. If you're from d-town and you know this stuff, you'll find it amusing. Wednesday, May 11, 2005
I always feel weird when I walk into Starbuck's in the morning and order something. I just feel like every other yuppie in there who think's they're too cool for regular coffee. I just don't like regular coffee, so that's why I personally go there. So I guess I'm a yuppie too. But if you've ever seen the movie, You've Got Mail, then you know what I am talking about. I ordered my "Extra Huge Swirly Cream Low Fat Mocha Nuts Blended Caramel Coffee" this morning and now I'm wired. Something's gotta get me going on five hours of sleep.

I went to the Kentucky Derby this past weekend and just got absolutely ROASTED! It was a beautiful weekend and who would expect five dudes to bring some sunblock down with us. Unforunately I didn't bet on Giacomo, but it was still a good time. Heading out to Chicago for some fun with Mayer this weekend and then I will need to let my old body rest for a while. The Pistons take on Indiana tonight in Game 2, Round 2 of the NBA Finals. I might take my brother if he wants to go. Anyway, GO PISTONS! Wednesday, May 04, 2005
It started out like any other day, until while on the race-track known as I-696, some guy's bumper jumped up into the grill of my car. Yep, I got into my first car accident since my last one eight years ago when I was 16. The damage isn't too bad, but enough to not be drive-able. Those pictures actually came from my camera phone and aren't too bad to tell you the truth. Anyway, I am fine and my car will be fine too. Looks like we're taking Gorman's car down to the Kentucky Derby this weekend though.

Anyway, HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! I am sure I will have some fun pictures to share when I get back from KY. Until then... |
