Here's a picture from a 1954 issue of Popular Mechanics. You can click on the picture to see more detail, but it is basically their prediction of what the home computer will look like in 2004. What's amazing is how accurate they are! This is almost EXACTLY what my home PC looks like and that is how I dress every time I go to use it!

Please take a minute to sign the Detroit Zoo petition. It's a long story, but the City of Detroit wants to close the Zoo (if you haven't heard about it already). They're a bunch of idiots. I could rant about this but don't have the time right now.

I had this link sent to me this morning about the next invention from the inventor of the Segway. Not only is the invention very cool, but the idea behind it is even better!

Curtis sent me this link through Google Talk today. I wasn't excited about the future, but now I am. It reminds me a lot of Minority Report.

The sand game is sooooooooooooo 1980 compared to the maze game! Make sure you have your speakers on, it plays a cool video after you get past level four!

In case you missed the SuperBowl commercials, don't worry,Google's got you covered. My favorite by far is the Bud Light Hidden Bud Light commercial.

It took GoDaddy.com 14 attempts to get a SuperBowl commercial approved for the air. I think it's cool they put them all online. Even though I think GoDaddy sucks, I respect their efforts.

Curtis sent me this really cool article called Imagining the Google Future today through (coincidentally) GoogleTalk. Read and you'll see how Google will eventually take over our lives...

PS - Something I just noticed: This post was created through Blogger.com, who is owned by Google. But when you run a spell check through Blogger, it thinks the word "Google" is misspelled. Why wouldn't you add you own company name to the dictionary? Odd. |
